Infrared Thermal Imaging

We are thrilled to provide Infrared Thermal Imaging before and after your Reflexology session. This complimentary feature allows you to visually observe the precise changes in your body from the start to the conclusion of your session. Discover and identify areas of inflammation, circulation changes, and thermal imbalances to support a more personalized reflexology session.

See What the Body is Trying to Tell You

Thermal Imaging is a safe, non-invasive assessment tool that captures the natural heat patterns produced by your body. Areas of increased warmth or cooler temperatures can provide valuable clues about circulation, inflammation, muscle tension, nerve activity, and lymphatic congestion.

Unlike X-rays or CT scans, thermal imaging does not use radiation or create a diagnosis. Instead, it offers a visual map that helps identify patterns of physiological stress. These images can be especially helpful when combined with reflexology, allowing sessions to be tailored to your body's current needs.

At Soothe the Soles Reflexology, thermal imaging serves as an educational tool. Clients often enjoy seeing the "before and after" comparison following a session, making subtle changes in circulation and tissue temperature easier to appreciate.

Benefits of Thermal Imaging

Thermal imaging may help identify patterns associated with:

• Inflammation

• Muscle tension

• Areas of reduced circulation

• Lymphatic congestion

• Nerve irritation

• Stress responses

• Joint overuse

• Recovery after injury

• Changes before and after reflexology sessions

How It Works

Using a professional infrared thermal camera, images are taken before and after your session.

The camera detects infrared heat naturally emitted from the skin and converts those temperatures into a color image.

Different colors represent different surface temperatures, allowing us to observe patterns that may warrant additional attention during your reflexology session.

No touching, radiation, or discomfort is involved.

What Thermal Imaging Does Not Do

Thermal imaging is not a medical diagnostic test.

It cannot diagnose diseases, injuries, or medical conditions.

Instead, it serves as a wellness assessment that may reveal thermal patterns worthy of observation or discussion with your healthcare provider if needed.

During Your Session

Depending on your appointment, images may be taken of the:

• Feet

• Hands

• Lower legs

• Face

• Neck

These images help establish a baseline and allow you to see changes that may occur following your reflexology session.

Why I Use Thermal Imaging

I believe your body is constantly communicating.  Thermal imaging provides another way to listen.

Combining infrared thermal imaging with reflexology, Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), Cranial Reflexology, Chi Medics,

and other wellness techniques, I can better personalize each session to support your body's unique patterns.

It also gives clients something they rarely have the opportunity to see—the body's response in real time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is thermal imaging safe?
Yes. It simply detects the heat your body naturally produces. There is no radiation or physical contact.

Does it hurt?
Not at all. Images are captured in just a few seconds.

Can it diagnose disease?
No. Thermal imaging is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions. It is a wellness assessment tool that helps identify thermal patterns.

Will I receive copies of my images?
Yes. When appropriate, before-and-after images can be shared so you can better understand changes observed during your session.
